Princeton City School District is proud to announce the Open Enrollment Application Period for the 2024-2025 school year. Princeton is a nationally recognized, award-winning school district that is rich in diversity and is equally rich in the educational opportunities offered to each student. Application for open enrollment is available to children whose parents/guardians reside outside of the district boundaries.

Application dates for Princeton City School District Open Enrollment will begin Thursday, January 4, 2024, and continue through Friday, May 24, 2024. Applications will be accepted at the Princeton Administrative Center. Forms and information are attached below. Applications will be considered on first-come, first-served bases in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 3313.98 and Princeton City School District policy and guidelines which require the district to accept students where class and program size permits. Transportation for those students who have been accepted for Open Enrollment will be provided only within the boundaries of the Princeton City School District and established bus routes and bus stops within the District.

Currently, the grades listed below are at capacity for the 2024-2025 school year and acceptance of Open Enrolled Students in these grades is not anticipated:

Child Find

The Princeton City School District is in the process of identifying, locating, and evaluating children with disabilities who may be in need of special education and related services.

From birth to age 3, a disability is an established condition known to result in delay, or a documented developmental delay.

For ages 3 to 5, a disability is a documented deficit in one or more of the following developmental areas: communication, vision, hearing, motor skills, social emotional/behavioral functioning, self-help skills, and/or cognitive skills.

For ages 5 to 21, a disability is identification of one or more of the following conditions: autism, deaf-blindness, hearing impairment including deafness, mental retardation, multiple disabilities, orthopedic impairment, other health impairment, emotional disturbance, specific learning disability, speech or language impairment, traumatic brain injury, and/or visual impairment including blindness.
