Hope and Healing

August 11, 2022

Dear Princeton Families,

It is with deep regret that we inform you of a recent loss to our school community. Shannen Moore, a member of the PHS Class of 2023, died due to complications pertaining to her cancer. She left a positive impact on everyone with whom she crossed paths. The message that she always shared with others was to be kind.  Shannen indicated that she wanted to be remembered for spreading kindness, and wished others would continue her mission of being kind to others.

The Princeton High School senior class rallied around Shannen throughout her fight.  When you walk the hallways, you can still see the orange ribbons in her honor, on many of the staff and students' belongings, doors, and decor.

Services were held at Evan's Funeral Home in Goshen, Ohio. Information can be found here on this link.

This loss may bring emotions, concerns, and questions for our entire school community, especially our students. The Princeton City School District Crisis Intervention Team, as well as staff from Talbert House, will be available to support staff and students in the coming days.  If you need additional resources, you are welcome to contact the main office of Princeton High School at 513-864-1500 or the Innovation Center at 51-864-2501.

The school building welcomes any cards or tokens of support for the family and will make arrangements to get those to the family.

Sincerely,

Ron Bollmer and Kris Rojas

Principals of Princeton High School and Princeton Innovation Center
